AFAIK you have 2 options: form it as string and use do or value(), there is a performance-hit but it ain't that bad, as long as you don't use it on every frame...


Or prepare a case - statement, like

case unknownParam of

        #locH: retVal=mySprite.locH
        #locV: retval=mySprite.locV
...
end case

return retVal

Where I live, Germany, we tend to avoid using that term (and some more from that time) for everyday chatting, may be because we had the real thing here. And there were real victims.
