Interesting, Anand. I've tried embedding Japanese fonts, with no luck, at least on English Windows/Director. Could you share with us your technique? What font do you use? Is it a Shift-JIS font? It's not Unicode, I presume. I'm really interested. I can display Japanese and Chinese in programs like Outlook and Word, but not Director. In fact, I have the Chinese and Japanese IME (it's a free download from Microsoft), and I can use it in Outlook, but not in Director. It would be great if you could share your secrets with us. I love to be proven wrong--it means I've learned something.
