Tell your boss to relax--this will take about 5 minutes.

- Modify -> Movie -> Casts -> New -> Internal -> [type in name] -> Create

- Open the external cast and the new internal cast windows.

- Select all the members in the external cast

- Drag them into the new internal cast.

- Close the external cast window.

- Modify -> Movie -> Casts -> [select the External cast] -> Remove

Save and compact. Test. Tell the boss you deserve a trip to Europe, too :-)

Director is smart enough to keep cast references when you drag and drop. 
Just because I'm a belt-and-suspenders sort of guy, though, I would give my 
new internal cast the same name as the now unlinked external cast.

Also note that the external cast is still there on your hard drive in case 
you need to re-link it for some reason. The procedure above is pretty safe.
