using field

Hello List..
I plan to use field to show my list, but I don't want
to use default scroll bar that within Director.

Do you know how to make field shows only
some lines that I want.
I make it clear. if my field only can show 5 lines and
my list are 20 lines. how the script (lingo) can make
my field shows only line 6 and 10.

I really need your help. please
