Is this the same movie or are you changing movies? If it is the same, then
you can use postNetText to call, in your case, an ASP. The ASP would return
a text stream with the data you need.
If it is a different movie you can write the shockwave html in the ASP and
provide additional parameter(s) in the HTML to feed the new data to your new
movie. This way you don't have to worry about all the problems with
externalevent.
