Umm... isn't that what side-by-side implies? :-)

The speculation was that it is optimized for the Pentium. I stated a 
fact--that it ran faster on My P-III than my G4, roughly equivalent machines.

Now that I go back and read my post again, I see that I worded it poorly, 
and it looks like I was supporting the speculation that Shockwave 3-D is 
optimized for the Pentium. That's not what I intended. Terry's right--we 
shouldn't engage in too much speculation. My observed difference could be 
because of the video card, not the CPU--or any number of other factors.

I'm OS-agnostic--I use Mac and Windows, and like them both. I will continue 
to report my observations, but I'll try to make them look less like 
speculation.
