Yes, you could do that. You should read up on Director's "Movie in a
Window" feature--we often call it MIAW. Open the Director Help, go to the
index, and type in "Movie in a Window."
Use digital video judiciously, though. It really chew up the CPU cycles, so
I wouldn't recommend running more than one at a time unless you're
targeting high-end machines.
