So far the ONLY solution has been to do ALL of the memory management myself.
I already track and unload audio files, but now I'm literally specifically
unloading a series of frames as I leave them, or all of the possible flash
movies that the user might have played in a specific area. Finally on a
black from prior to go back to my main menu, I do a unload and everything
seems to be working in a range of about 18 meg at startup and a fluxuation
of 6 meg as things load in or load out, or audios get puppeted and then
unloaded again.

So far so good, but WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO DIRECTORS MEMORY
MANAGEMENT??????

Thank for you help and suggestions,
JRS
