If you open Director and don't open a movie, then adjust things the way you like them, close Director, open it again, they should remain that way.

How can you set Director so that when you begin a new movie the menus and palettes pop up in the same place? I have seen in general >preferences the save position based on quit but that is once you are in a movie, i want my default to always be a certain way. --carol [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
