None of us here are lawyers, so if you're seeking a definitive answer for
business purposes then contacting the licensing group would be better.

I have a memory of some types of arrangements like that being conducted in
the past. It's a higher chance in any particular case that they just didn't
read. In such a situation we could theoretically bust them, but the overall
goal on that logo program is to show the world that Director developers
actually make good stuff... enforcement isn't as big a goal as just getting
the word about Director out there.

Doesn't make it any less of a legal requirement, but that's what I
understand of the underlying motivation, if that's of use.
