With all due respect, but I find this to be a big load of shit....

First off all, I think it should be made a lot clearer and put in an obvious
place like the first page of the manual or help sys - it is not obvious at
all that all this is required - I must say that the first few months I used
director I didn't know about this. Lucky me I was doing internal company
stuff then.
It's just so well hidden... it's like writing a C program for a client and
hiding some licensing stuff hoping he will break it so you can sue him...

Second, I have no objection whatsoever with those logo's but sending in
those two copies and filling out a bunch of crap thats bull, just like the
conditions of those apple lamers with their quicktime.... take the example
of adobe with acroread... it will even save you money on facsimile ink and
paper and hours of the person who looks at it and gets ill often with
headaches and throws up of all the crap he sees, and give the cleaning lady
a break.... man that sux so hard.

It really should be made a lot clearer - print it on the manual cover if you
will, but you can't expect ppl to go diggin around for some license details,
it's not client-friendly.
And don't start with the "your lucky we don't make you pay for every damn CD
you distribute", if that would be the case I'm pretty sure director would be
in the deepest hole of the planet surface right now.

Sorry for naggin'

Chris.
