Hi Kevin.

Check out the pause() and play() commands on the 3D Help. They should
get you on the right track. You may need to fiddle a bit with the mouse
loc and the parameters for the play() command to get the interaction you
want but I guess it is possible.

Hello,

I would like to know, if it is possible to control the inside of a max
animation export. For instance if In Studio Max I have made three boxes
all
move on a path, the path being a circle and then added a path controller
to
each box, and in turn picking the path to make then spin around the
circle.
Then lets says the as default max sets this to be 100 frames and i then
export this from Max as a w3D. How can I move this animation bettween
frame
1 and 100 with say clicking and dragging the mouse in Director, I know
Director 7 lingo fairly well but could do with a bit of advice on this
one.
Obvioulsy at the moment, i have imported the export into Director and it
loops when i hit the play button, so i addded a go to the frame on the
first
frame but again it still loops. so i as i mentioned earlier i need to
find
out how to by clicking and dragging the mouse move the boxes, or play
and
play in reverse depending upon whether the mouse is clicked and dragged
left
or right, frame 1-100 or 100-1, i know this should should be an equation
made by the loc of the m,ouse and the width of thw stage but agin i'm
not
sure how to get into controlling the movie..
