It can certainly be done, but manipulating the models within 3D 
worlds is not as simple and as obvious as standard sprite manipulation

I'd suggest that you read the parts of the Help system that discuss 
this (or the Dir 8.5 3D manual itself) & then muck around for a while.

Or you can go the easier route:
   pay someone else to do it.
