Perhaps not with version 4 of the audio xtra, but I have a working version
(on the Mac at least - can't remember if I ever tested it on Windows, and
it's more than possible that Windows can't handle this) that was written in
D8 with version 3.1.2, the video playing with or without sound.

Lots of other things are possible. The user records a VO, plays sports
announcer, news reporter, etc. Conversation is only one type of activity.
