Hey that really is a great article ;-)

But since the original poster says they are new to director I would recommend
staying away from LDMs (linked director movies) It is true that they are very
powerful and on some levels can be easier than MIAWs there are all kinds of
issues surrounding them that can get a new developer into a lot of hot water
very quickly... and if they are starting out stressed already they are just
asking for more trouble.

Hopefully Macromedia will get their butt in gear for the next release and offer
true LDM support like people have been asking for, for years. But I'm not
holding my breath.
