Thank you for the reply.  It was set to the PCMU codec.  I changed it over to 
the PCMA codec and the lizard/helicopter sound went away, but, there is now an 
echo on the customer end of the call.  I ran the echo canceller but that didn't 
solve anything.  Do you have any recommendations?

Hi Roy,

Could you tell what audio codec is being used when you make a call on
Vocalocity? You can see it by taping the stats button during the call.
