Bruce, My qeth parms (from modules.conf) look like this: options qeth qeth_options="noauto,0x350,0x351,0x352,portname:OSA350,eth0"

I have just booted from the reader, and I am being prompted for network setup. Here is what I get. . . . 3 qdio 27728 0 [qeth] All OSA Express/Gigabit detected: chan cu cu dev dev in chandev irq devno type type model type model pim chpids use reg. ============================================================================ === 0x000e 0x2e70 0x10 0x1731 0x01 0x1732 0x01 0x80 0x0200000000000000 yes yes 0x000f 0x2e71 0x10 0x1731 0x01 0x1732 0x01 0x80 0x0200000000000000 yes yes 0x0010 0x2e75 0x10 0x1731 0x01 0x1732 0x01 0x80 0x0200000000000000 yes yes For Gigabit Ethernet Cards, autodetection will use the first 3 addesses found, even if they are used by an other LPAR. This seems to work with Gbit Cards and z/VM, but it is not required that it works in every case. For autodetection enter auto or enter the device addresses for the qeth module, e.g. '0xf800,0xf801,0xf802' (auto): 0x2e70,0x2e71,0x2e75,OSAQDI O2 qeth 164208 0 (unused) qdio 27728 0 [qeth] eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found eth0 not available, check device addresses/cards. Do you want to retry the qeth-setup (Yes/No) ?
