Useful, sometimes. The toughest things to migrate from one
environment to another are things like turnaround document
applications, special print jobs, and the like. I've seen quite a few
companies take on conversions and migrations, and then get caught out
by something like this.

One of the things I'd like to see IBM develop in the next eighteen
months is a restricted-function engine for the Linux-only system to
allow people to run residual (hard to convert) applications - mostly
VSE - until their eventual end of life. Not appropriate at the moment
because they're mainly going for new applications/users.
