        Yes, but it sure beats some of the more "User Friendly" systems
        that are very welcoming but then can't be trusted behind your
        back-  because it's so friendly to your enemies, too.  Like a
        guard dog that helps carry your possessions out for the burglar.

        Unix, Linux, AIX et al aren't all that friendly with EVERYBODY
        like Windoze has been...

        Now, some comments about the "superiority of the GUI" vs. the
        command line:

                A GUI is a great paradigm for piloting (flying) your
                workload-  but there is no simple or reasonable means
                to implement an autopilot-  heck, you don't even have
                a _cruise_ control, so you can't take your hands off
                the controls at any time while flying across the
                Pacific Ocean.  A reasonably programmable shell with
                various programs allows the construction of quite
                complex and subtle autopilots with a minimum of effort.

                It's only the learning curve of a command line that is
                intimidating to new users.
