I thought C-TREE was available in ANSI C source code. Is the situation that they know it won't port to Linux/390, or that they simply don't know and therefore don't officially support it? (I realize from other posts that this isn't relevant to your original question any more, but I am curious what the FairCom folks said when you contacted them.)
