The glibc error seems familiar. I think I got it when I was trying to compile glibc 2.2.5 with gcc 2.95.2/3.

Most of it works alright, but I keep bumping into a couple of errors. Hard to tell if this is a chicken-and-egg scenario, but it doesn't *look* like that. Most or all of the other bugs have been dealt with. These two return to me, just won't go away. >From the GETTEXT build: ... Warning: size of symbol `_nl_find_msg' changed from 1525 to 1186 ... collect2: ld returned 1 exit status And from the GLIBC build (more serious!): ... ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/errlist.c:41: weak declaration of `_old_sys_nerr' must precede definition ... Does this jog anyone's memory? Thanks. -- RMT
