At least you could get some! Our company outsourced the surplus equipment dept. to another company and gave them all our good junk! I don't know where we dug up the 3270 we're using to test our z800. I was told to ask no questions. Even our production VM local consoles have squirming or disappearing letters but they are still better than using the HMC for an IPL console.
