I use GMX http://www.gmx.com/ (I hope you see it in English). They offer
both free (20 MB space, deletion after 30 days, POP3-download, web
access, spam filter) and non-free accounts with additional features (100
MB storage, no deletion of old mail, virus scan etc.). All their servers
run Linux. I use their free account, and it has been 4 years since my
last complaint...
