Well, I was refering to the whole message not to this particular issue.

I agree that adding a big software package outside vendor supports is a
burden. But Unix fs are actually quite integrated. Unless I am mistaken,
adding a fs is basically adding support in the kernel (which should be
already for reiserfs there since mounting is supported) and then
installing the tools (mkfs.reiser, fsck.reiser etc.)
So I think that this difference is really not an big issue. Of course,
if this is the only one, it becomes the biggest.
