I should clarify myself a bit...  I meant that the original Plex86 project is
deceased in the sense of being inactive (last couple of months CVS update on
the source tree has been completely empty), and having been abandoned by the
original author or so it seems.  His new work is quite different because it's
no longer intended to provide a virtual PC to the user, but rather a
specialized implementation to run Linux on x86.  I would have loved the older
work to continue further, but the complexity may have been a killing blow :(
