That's one of the things I always thought was superior about the TOPS-20 and VMS batch systems. Batch and interactive weren't such different animals. But we digress widely from Linux.... NQS is a lot closer to the TOPS-20/VMS model for batch (on Linux). Anyone done any experimenting with it recently? -- db
