Harold,

UTS Global has a Linux 390 server product which supports STK silo. In
addition, it allows other Linux LPARs and VM/Linus Guess to share it.

Harold,
VERITAS is supposed to have a Linux-390 client in their NetBackup 5.0

A quick note thanking everyone for the feedback I received.

From all the feedback, it appears there are 4 viable solutions for us :
- Upstream S/390 Linux
- Tivoli Storage Manager
- Brightstor Enterprise Backup.
- amanda.

I have given all the info to our storage guy and he will probably decide
where we go from here.

Once again thanks.
