If that's the only hold-up, I can make the resources available to him with
little or no delay.

Mark Post's got a point, though -- the stuff that comes from IBM Germany is
usually obsessively tested before it gets out the door, sometimes too much
IMHO. Marcello would do well to consider the source of the submission and
the general temperament of the submitters...8-).

Failing that, coordinating patches would seem to be an excellent role for a
WAVV or SHARE technical representative or another outside organization to
assume if he doesn't like it coming directly from IBM. That might also be a
nice way to deal with the IBM lawyers -- if the IBMers follow their own
guidelines, anything coming out of IBM is known to be clean by IBM
standards. Patches from other sources can be vetted and integrated into the
390 tree by the outside org w/o having to involve all the IBM processes.
