Yes, it works with TCP/IP.  Asking the obvious is always a good idea.  I have been 
bitten many times by overlooking the obvious.

When you say it works okay in z/OS, do you mean that it works as a TCP/IP
interface and not VTAM?  Recall that the device manager in the EMIO config
is different for SNA devices than TCP/IP, so make sure that you're using
the right device manager.

Sorry if this is too obvious, it's just that the default ADCD definition
for E40 is as an SNA device; I just want to make sure you were on top of
that.
