You are right, If I can get Redhat to charge me for only 2 IFL's for all my
Linux workload and I can run 2 zAAP processors for Websphere I get more bang
for the buck.

But If I had to choose between an IFL and a zAAP, I would choose the IFL for
the Flexibility.

Why? I don't know the relative costs of an IFL vs. a zAAP. But if they are
about the same, I'd prefer an IFL for Linux work to a zAAP for Java Only.
Unless, of course, the Linux vendors adopt the "we don't charge for zAAP
use" philosopy that the z/OS vendors are _supposed_ to do.
