I am working on including our Linux partition in the DR process. We snapshot our dasd volumes once a week. I would like to find out if we can snapshot the current linux volumes to another set from which we can boot the system. How sensitive is Linux to the volumes? That is if I boot up from 0x230A instead of 0x2300 does it care?
Has anyone tried this? BTW I have started courting Amanda.
