we are once again embarking on a linux on zseries pilot and our mainframe network folks are arguing about things (z/vm routing or use direct to linux for the route) while our network engineers are saying no static routing period.
what i'd like is your recommendations on what the best setup would be for the following: 1 z900 IFL 1 OSA Express GB 1 z/VM 5.1 4 to 20 SuSE linux servers I'm assuming a vlan is the way to go but networking is not my forte. Thanks for any suggestions. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Lionel B. Dyck, Systems Software Lead <>< Kaiser Permanente Information Technology 25 N.
