It seems much better tested than the previous release, although support
still seems to be spotty (the quality of the support varies widely from
call to call -- I've gotten a few real morons and a few pretty good
people recently). It seems random. It also doesn't really help much with
the applications; mostly they only know the kernel/utilities stuff.

Application support is still pretty weak in terms of the "800 lb
gorillas", although that may stem from RH's slow start. I'd also wish
for some additional education for their field reps -- matching apps to
platforms is hard enough without having to fight them wrt where they
want to sell Intel. This may be local problem, but it *really* doesn't
help.

Major peeve: their 25 image limit on 'support'. That's just ... well,
anyway.
Look very, very carefully at your support agreement, if you buy one from
them.
