They should. I have successfully installed TaoLinux under Hercules/390.
Tao is based on the freely available RedHat version. I forget exactly
which version.

You can get them from RedHat or from a VAR such as Sine Nomine
Associates at http://sinenomine.net/ . I know nothing about PWD other
than it exists. You'd need to ask someone at the vendor. I know that
some of the SNA people monitor this list, so they will likely speak up
to these questions.

Assuming that you are Linux literate, but starting on "bare iron", my
best quess for how long it would take me:

Install RedHat on the Intel server - 1 work day, assuming no
interruptions.

Install Hercules/390 on RedHat - 2 hours maximum

Install Linux/390 on Hercules - Using TaoLinux, this only took be about
3 hours. He has done a really nice job. And Tao was specifically
developed under Hercules/390 and installs very easily.

So, I would guess that FOR ME it would take maybe 3 work days. I cannot
say how long it would take you because I don't know your level of
expertise. Hercules has been known to confuse people. I've been using it
long enough that I more-or-less understand how to get it set up. I can
share my hercules.cnf for my TaoLinux setup if you want.

Uh, from this question, I'd guess that you are not very experienced in
Linux. Up my estimate to a week, maybe more. My first RedHat Linux/Intel
(RH 7.2?) install back in the old days, with NO help took me over a week
due to my lack of knowledge and lack of people to bug. You have people
to bug right here <grin>.
