Hi list, i did it. Slack/390 is up and running.
Here the two problems i ran in: 1.) Disabled Wait after IPL 01: CP IPL 201 01: HCPGIR450W CP entered; disabled wait PSW 000A0000 0000000F Check that s390-tools are installed and zipl was performed before you re-IPL your linux. 2.) network unreachable INIT: Entering runlevel: 3 Going multiuser... �9;15|SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable Starting sysklogd daemons: /usr/sbin/syslogd /usr/sbin/klogd -c 3 -x Starting OpenSSH SSH daemon: /usr/sbin/sshd Updating shared library links: /sbin/ldconfig An update to /etc/modules.conf corrects the error: echo "alias eth0 qeth" >> /etc/modules.conf Automatic detection of qeth works fine.
