Thanks for the info. Very timely for us. I expect the Oracle 10g for Linux/390 (the 31 bit stuff) on my desk by early January. But since management ordered it, I assumed that they ordered the 64 bit version instead of what we can use <G>.
So, for those "Oracle" types, how close is a install of Oracle for zSeries Linux (64 bit) on Suse 8.0 (which is what the document is for, verse our situation of Oracle for Linux/390 on Suse 9.0? Just wondering how worth while it is for me to follow the document (along with any Oracle related documentation). If the document applies to my environment, I will use it and write any changes/corrections on it. I could be talked into sending the changes in, in some form, to form a supplement and/or corrections.
