We setup the Monitoring procedures as outline in Chapter 11 of the Getting Started with Linux on z/Series for z/VM 5.1. When we start PERFZVM, we receive the following:
FCXTCP571I Connected to TCP/IP server TCPIP on path 0005 FCXTCR571I Connected to TCP/IP server TCPIP on path 0006 FCXTCP575I Host IP address is 161.186.86.135:00081 FCXTCR575I Host IP address is 161.186.86.135:41785 FCXTCP590I WebServer interface activated For some reason, it is selecting 161.186.86.135, which is the hipersocket IP address. We do not let the hipersocket IP address go out on the wire, so in essence, no one can connect to 161.186.86.135:00081. Our z/VM home list is: Address Link ------- ------ 161.186.86.135 HIPERLEF 161.186.11.70 VMSERVER 10.28.94.70 OSE1 10.28.92.70 OSD3 We wish to use the VIPA address 161.186.11.70 for the webserver interface. Since we did not configure 161.186.86.135, we are having problems discovering when to change this. Thanks for assistance.
