When I was trying to figure out a YOU problem on a system, I did
something like this:
strace -f -F online_update -d 2>&1 > yast.trace.list

Then I went through the file to see all the files that online_update was
opening, and seeing what was in them.  Tedious, but it got me the answer
I needed.

I renamed /var/lib/YaST2 and started YaST2 and it still made no
difference. I am at a loss at this point. I will open a ticket with SuSE
and keep everyone posted. Thanks to all that responded.
