Reiser uses more CPU then other filesystems.  This isn't a problem with Intel 
boxes, but it can be a problem on s390.

Reiser small file support depends on 512 byte sectors.  This works on FBA 
storage, but if you use a 3390 it doesn't work.  I kind of suspect this is the 
cause of some filesystem corruption.

I've used reiserfs for a while on production intel boxes and I've
found the same things to be true, ext3 (and 2) do offer better last
resort file system recovery, but at that point it would be easier to
recover from backup anyway so that doesn't worry me to much.

Is there anything about the s390 architecture that would be a bad
match for reiserfs?
