...and one bug in the installer. :)

I've just installed it today and noticed that updating with yast2 from a
NFS-mounted CD copy (I copied the three CDs into cd1/, cd2/ and cd3/
subdirectories of one main SP3 dir) is having problems accepting CD 2.

The (supposed) reason is that some of the YaST updates apparently alter
the product name from "SUSE CORE" to "SUSE SLES" in the middle of the
update process, which subsequently causes CD 2 to fail. The resolution
is to create a symlink on both 1st and 2nd CD, like so:

~ $ cd ${top_of_install_tree}/
~ $ ln -s ./SUSE-CORE/ ./cd1/s390x/updates/SUSE-SLES
~ $ ln -s ./SUSE-CORE/ ./cd2/s390x/updates/SUSE-SLES

This also takes care of any problems subsequent updates might run into.

Hope this helps,
