The only instructions I could find to use IND$FILE was for transfers between
DOS and MVS.  Do you know where I could find instructions to use this
between RedHat Linux and z/OS?

Most 3270 emulators (including x3270 afaik) support file transfer
through IND$FILE. That's probably the simplest way when you can not
ftp into MVS.
