detach_state is an attribute generated by the driver core (not specific
to our stuff) and has been removed in later kernels.

Use echo {on,off} > /sys/devices/css0/chp0.2e/status to vary the chpid.
(The on/off comes from the 2.4 /proc/chpids interface.)
