Hello! If he's got that much experience then why'd he sound like an idiot to begin with? It happens that I do have that much experience and happen to recognize the classic Apache webpage that indicates it was indeed installed successfully.
Quite obviously it was the fault of the people of that town to elect someone who had no clear idea of what he was doing in either local technology or government. And to select a cable TV company to deliver their Internet access as well. Besides I am convinced that our friend at CentOS went out of his way to be polite to this individual.
