Hi: Are you using any performance monitoring tools? Do you have high paging rates during the linux vm to linux vm transfer? How much real memory is on the box? Are the MTU sizes the same on both linux machines? Your variance in times vm-to-vm may point at a resource issue. Also check that you have all service applied. What version/release of zvm? David

I certainly thought the transfer between two guests on the VSWITCH would have at least been equal if not better?? Any suggestions regarding configuration corrections or troubleshooting are greatly appreciated.
