z/VM 5.2.  If you SET VSWITCH/LAN GRANT ... PROMISCUOUS, then you can use
SET NIC command to turn on promiscuous mode for the VSWITCH or Guest LAN.

Make sure the VSWITCH controller has plenty of SHARE and OPTION QUICKDSP.
The CP code that moves data on a VSWITCH executes under the auspices of
the associated controller (even though the guest doesn't actually do any
work).  Eventually we'll fix that, but that's how it works for now.
