What is the hardware at the DR site? No current IBM hardware runs in basic mode, so I suspect you are in a logical partition. Running two levels of VM will definitely give you software SIE processing. Your only hope for reasonable performance of the Linux guest is to run it under the DR site VM, not on your VM under their VM. Tom Russell "Stay calm. Be brave.
