Since these relate directly to directory/file names underneath /sys, I'm
not at all surprised.

upper hex ranges you cannot encode the parm file with: 

ReadChannel=0.0.0C00       upper-case

You must encode: 

ReadChannel=0.0.0c00       mixed-case

Although the doc says the parm names are not case sensitive, certainly
the values seem to be.
