Here's the parmfile I've been using, which includes the Osa definition, but not
the InstNetDev entry. You're problem may be with that single entry, instead of
the entire three. I still do FTP installs, as I haven't learned to trust NFS
yet.

Subject: Re: SLES 10 Parmfile Encoding

Hello list,

I finally got SLES10 RC 3 installed. Thanks to William Scully for
recommending to take out the "InstNetDev", "OsaInterface" and "OsaMedium"
parameters. That was the only way I was able to get out of the starting
gate. Hopefully SuSE will fix that before GA.

It did install with the iso images mounted over the directories CD1/,
CD2/, CD3/ and CD4/. The PARMFILE points to CD1/ and the install finds the
other 3, so a mksles10root.sh script is not necessary.

Another heads-up: at first the VNC graphical install was fast, but then
slowed down greatly. I had forgotten to bump up the memory from 256M to
512. Starting over after a "#CP DEF STOR 512M" brought the performance
back to usual.
