Check /var/log/messages from the period before your reboot. Are there any peculiar messages there?

Hi all, I just recently started having a problem with one of my Linux images running on VM 5.2. Every so often the image will lose its connection both through the network and from VM. All I get when logging on to the guest through VM is LOGON LNXTEST at the top of the screen (LNXTEST is the name of the image).
