You're not serious in suggesting that you want Linux to try and read
the label of all DASD devices that your LPAR may possibly see, are
you?. In a virtual machine I could imagine you may want to go after
all disks, but probably not in LPAR installation. Even though we tell
people to restrict access in the LPAR profile.

Also, wasn't the driver changed to avoid probing all devices when you
don't specify a dasd= argument?
